Yea I really enjoyed having Gruden in the booth last night. He's definitely a huge upgrade over Kornheiser (sp?). He has a fresh coaching eye for the game that neither of the other two guys can give you. It might actually make the Monday night crew semi-listenable this year.

I love how the one guy said that the Giants were NFC East division champs last year, and that Carolina was NFC South champs, and that didn't sound as good or something. Chucky then said something like "Hey, we play football in the South too." II like how he actually had intelligent things to say, being as the man has watched hundreds of hours of game film for our team. The rest of America may not like Gruden, but as a Carolina fan it's nice to not have another NFC East Puppet in the booth.

I like how Gruden and his "people" were showing DWill the respect so many of us thought he deserved last year. You could hear him having flashbacks of getting torched by DeAngelo and Smitty. I'm glad he's there.

I love how he mentioned about the argument of D-Will being possibly the best back in the league and Jaws immediately said "have your people heard of Adrian Peterson?" and Gruden said yes in a very matter of fact way. It's funny because once the talking heads get it stuck that so and so is the best, they won't change and will defend their guy vehemently. It's no wonder why one of those two jerkoffs called Deangelo Williams Deshaun Williams. Makes me sick that in this economy these guys get to cash a paycheck for this crap. And if I was Gruden I would say thanks for giving me a jersey for my birthday of a guy that had a career passer rating of less than 75 and just barely cleared the .500 mark for career wins. Gee wiz Jaws, could you sign it too? Maybe I could sell it on eBay for enough to buy a replica unsigned d-will jersey.

I thought Gruden did a pretty good job. Usually guys who have never been in the booth have a hard time knowing when to talk and when to shut up. He did well with that IMO.
