Ron can only do so much with what he has... Dave can only get so many players at a time... Players can only be so good... Coaches can only teach so much. We are what we are.

 

The difference being, KB is still having a great season and is only a rookie as well.

What should Ron do? Here's what I'd accept "We felt good and comfortable about our options at OT coming into the season with the guys we had. We felt they we're really gonna give us a great chance to compete. But we've done a poor job addressing a position of clear need. "

How about putting the team / players on notice that their play has been not great and that WE (players and coaches) HAVE to do better.

We will be carrying it over to help with the cap next year to help us extend Cam.  The more we have, the more we roll over. And we'll need it becuase we are still being rodded up the urethra by retarded Hurney contracts, and will be until 2016.

As for the presser. Jesus people, what do you expect him to say? "Our tackles suck donkey dong. I wish we had different players". That will help with team morale. That will sure "prove a point" that them sucking won't be tolerated. That will make them decide to play better/have their backups play better...

 

I mean damn folks. Just damn. The amount of stupid going on in this place this season is starting to get to me. I am by no means an optimist, but Christ almighty. You can't see the forest through the trees. We are cap strapped, we tried to sign decent tackles in the offseason but they didn't want to work for peanuts. We have a good core to build around, and we will continue to do so as we get out of the cap abyss that Hurn-dog put us in. We over-achieved last year and replaced nearly half of our starters in total on both sides of the ball from that team that over-achieved.  A step back was imminent. As was everyone's reactions apparently.

 

My god. Many of you are all so very dumb it pains me to know that we root for the same team.
