Noticed something yesterday on the sidelines

Maybe I'm just blind, but they showed McDermott on the sidelines yesterday. Isn't he usually up in the booth calling plays? It's the first I've noticed it all year and it happens to be the game our defense has played it's best.

Maybe they should bring Shula down and actually interact with the offense. Might do everyone some good.

That too.. but this late in the season we probably have to ride it out. Rivera doesn't know what is going on with the offense in order to call plays.

Do you think that has any effect on how are defense plays? Defense was bad in Green Bay but Godfrey was getting worked at nickel and Norman was still out and it was against an elite QB and offense. Defense was dominant other than one drive against the Seahawks, both in the run game and pass game.
