I can't imagine not using a joystick. Heard there's some controller mods out there but a decent joystick seems like a requirement - the hat switch quickly scans your view, throttle and shield controls...the ships also respond to the roll axis with a twist that's usually set for rudder on flight sims.

rogue squadron was a decent shooter game and looked great but X Wing/TIE Fighter were simulators - more to learn and control, for a game from the early 90s it had some incredible features like iMuse music cueing, vast battle spaces, a full training system...can't wait to see about getting it tonight

not only X-Wing and Tie, but they've got some Sam-n-Max hit the road, Indiana Jones, and Monkey Island. WOOOOOOT!!!!

Now if LA can release an updated Maniac Mansion: DOTT....please......
