Cam's first-down celebrations really bother a lot of people. Why?

I just wish he would save them for the monstrous 3rd down conversions. Like the epic scramble last year vs the Pats on MNF.

 

When Brady gets pumped up everyone loves it because it is normally in a big moment. Not just your typical first down run when you're gonna punt 3 plays later.

If we keep going forward with that mindset, then we may as well replace "Keep pounding" with "Maybe next year".

 

We keep getting these results because we keep making the same on the cheaper end play it safe hires of guys like Rivera, and Shula. It starts at the very top. Until Richardson changes his mindset and stops living in a completely different era, I'm not sure how much will truly change.

 

I agree that it comes from the Big Cat, but I have a little different look than you at it.

 

 

JR stood by Hurney for far too long, I can make the case that he should have never been hired in the first place, but that's another discussion.

 

Hurney hurt us far worse than many understand, or care to really look into.  You and I have had this talk a couple times, and I understand that you, and most others are tired of hearing it, but the facts are the facts.

 

 

 

I think that DG has a long term plan, and I took him at his word that it would be a couple of really rough years before we get out of this mess.  We overachieved last year, and I think that in the end that 12 win season may do more harm than good, long term.

 

When we can lock up Cam, Luke, get some cap space back, and stop burning draft picks on hopes of filling an immediate need (Hurney Special) then we will get where we need to be.  

 

Brees is on his last legs, ATL looks like they were a flash in the pan a couple years ago, and TB is in a far worse situation than us long term.  I am going to trust DG, as for RR, Shula, or JR.....they haven't earned it.

I love it, when we are not getting whooped. Then its kind of like........really??? Others do a generic version, but I think they would get called out too if they were down big. Not by like 10 or 7, but like 21+. Its like, just get back to the huddle......you got work to do

wasn't shown on camera.  he didn't do it directly after the score.....and they showed him gathering the ball and jogging to the stands to pass it off.

Actually, if I was hating on him, I would direct the adjective "silly" towards the subject "cam". However, I am directing the adjective "silly" to the action "the celebration".

So no, not hating on Cam at all.
