Would you want Jim Harbaugh if Panthers continue to suck?

Hell yes.

This is a franchise that has never had back to back winning seasons. Why would you not want a guy that has proven success as a NFL head coach?

I don't know, maybe because his current team wants him out? You don't find that concerning at all. No red flags? None?

Why not consider him?  He seems a decent coach but he does have drawbacks.

But, considering a coaching change at this junction is a little premature.  The losses are coming from a lack of talent not a lack of execution.

The loss yesterday was stricly lack of execution, not talent. And for the record, it is not premature. We have been seeing this from Rivera for the majority of his tenure here. He had one fluke season because his job was on the line, making him be more aggressive and loose (hence the Riverboat Ron nickname), but the rest were ALL like this season. It's time for a change.

yeah i'd want him here.  thankfully smitty is gone because if those two butted heads it would result in an apocalyptic millenium-long battle that would consume the earth in flames and brimstone.

really though he's going to get a dump truck of cash backed up to his house to coach at michigan where he won't have to put up with NFL bullshit and he can yell at 18 year olds fresh off the greyhound instead of millionaire grown ass men

you are a fugin idiot

The same people that continue to cut Ron Rivera slack are the same people who liked Rex Ryan as a coaching prospect wayyy before he managed the dumpster fire that the jets currently are, the same people who liked Leslie Frazier who basically did fug all as a head coach before he got fired last year, the same people who are going to ballyhoo a windstorm of emerging defensive coordinators whenever ron gets fired, and the same people who are afraid to expand their horizons beyond conservative defensive ball control coaching prospects that are only capable of mustering one winning season every four years.

hard to argue with results like that

It doesn't concern you that even with that success, there are people that want him gone?

The saying goes that 'winning cures everything'. If they have issues that winning to this level doesn't cure, that's a pretty big red flag.

Jim Harbaugh is out after this year unless he wins Super Bowl.  It looks like it's going to be a long season for the Panthers with report that Rivera is close to losing locker room.

We had a chance to land Harbaugh 4 years ago and we failed.  Looks like it will be another chance.

If we have a chance to get Jim Harbaugh I would be one happy Panther fan,With Harbaugh as HC, games would be exciting, instead of the same old dull hum drum we are currently getting. I have alway had Rivera's back but he seems to have reverted back to his former ultra conservative ways, a sure fire way to lose football games and turn off the players, as well as the fanbase.
