Fun game today with the wrong outcome

The first half was exciting and I liked how our D did their job.  Not able to convert long drives in TDs hurt us but that's how it is sometimes.  Play calling was poor (but too many have discussed that already).  Not quite sure what happened to Cam.  He looked fired up in the first half but became very lethargic in the second.  It was good to see Stewart back.  He still is "our" beast.  I believe we  over-utilized him though......

Wouldn't you be after three trips to the redzone, with only 2 FG's and a fumble to show for it?

 

Plus, the Panthers went Hog Wild on the run game and the Read Option, when the passing game was working so well, as you noted.

That is becoming a pattern with this team and u wonder why Cam looked out of it. Can't get anything out of the running game on a consistent basis. Can't get anything out of his passing game on a consistent basis. And, the O-line have the opponents defense chasing him around the field pretty much on a consistent basis. But Panthers' fans will find anything about Cam to harp endlessly about and sit and wonder what is going on his head when he mis-throws a couple of balls.

 

You Panther fans will sit and watch how other team players step up to help their QB and believe the same is happening with Cam. I guess it's that "Oh well that's how it is sometimes" attitude u have towards the team and their plays, while having a more rigid and disciplined attitude towards Cam. Yeah, the word INCONSISTENT keeps coming to mind.

 

Well said. As I noted earlier, you would be out of it to (like Cam) by the second half, if you continually march into the redzone and can't come up with TD's, while running most of the time with that awful run blocking line, and stop passing just cause KB dropped one. Come again Shula?

I was actually surprised at how well the Seahawks fans travel. I was airing in front of a few from Alaska and another few from Florida.

I was sitting next to a dad not wearing any team gear at all, and his teenage son decked out in a Wilson jersey bought the day before (my guess) and Seahawks hat.  When that little fuger started running his mouth after they scored their TD, his dad was like "quiet down son, you're in hostile territory."

Guy sitting in front of me with a Seahawks hat. Started cheering for us when we got a 1st down. He took his hat off and said oh i couldnt remember what hat I had on. I said wth did you forget you were in Charlotte? He said he was a Dallas fan and just got the Seattle hat for this game.

Wtf my brain can't even reconcile that fugged up bullsh!t.

they are not playing at lambeau field. there is quite a difference.

 

Where the Panthers play makes little difference they have shown they can and will poo the bed at the house or the motel.
