There is a huge faction of Panther bitch fans..i will not be listening to the insanity on WFNZ this week. Bunch of dudes calling for Cam to be traded and we retro draft Teddy Bridgewater....same guys complaining today were wanting to make that bed.

Exciting game. Me and my son had a blast. My tailgate fajitas were fugging delish and traffic wasn't that bad after the game. Who knew there were so many Seahawk fans, I continue to be disappoint in Panther fans but that's a moot point nowadays. In the end our defense gave up one drive and we lost. I haven't rewatched the game on TV yet, but my from the bleachers winners of the SCP Golden Crapper Awards for today were:

Norwell (opened holes like a beast)

Kelvin Benjamin (fug the TD drop, kid made some awesome grabs)

The Defense (13 pts is a good day)

JStew (my man refused to go down)

Cam (even though he made a few ill advised plays)

Bersin (showed some wheels on the return)

Tre Boston (looked fast and like he might be able to make some plays)

Gano (it was windy as hell today, not sure if you could see that on TV)

Norman (made several nice plays)

Whether you choose to believe it or not, there is a decent football team somewhere in this 3-4-1 record. Our o-line and play calling, IMO, are our biggest Achilles heal right now and there is no Calvary coming to save us.

Two things jumped out at me: Where was Luke on this list? And another team's fans outnumbered the Panthers?

The first half was exciting and I liked how our D did their job.  Not able to convert long drives in TDs hurt us but that's how it is sometimes.  Play calling was poor (but too many have discussed that already).  Not quite sure what happened to Cam.  He looked fired up in the first half but became very lethargic in the second.  It was good to see Stewart back.  He still is "our" beast.  I believe we  over-utilized him though......

Guy sitting in front of me with a Seahawks hat. Started cheering for us when we got a 1st down. He took his hat off and said oh i couldnt remember what hat I had on. I said wth did you forget you were in Charlotte? He said he was a Dallas fan and just got the Seattle hat for this game.

There were not as many Seahawks fans this week as there were Bears fans three weeks ago...  

 

 

I agree, the tailgate and the game were a blast... right up until the point when the Panthers decided they didn't want to win.

 

 

The stadium was loud, but I will admit that in the 3rd and 4th quarter the fans kind of gave up (except on 3rd down, which was still pretty good).

 

I sat in 119, which in my experience, the upper decks tend to be better fans than the lower decks, but 119 has some diehard fans.  We were up and yelling the entire game.

I agree with TC. Panthers played a good game, did a lot of things right, it's just in the end the Seahawks made one more pla than the Panthers. It's not about we didn't do this, or we didn't do that, or Rivera and Shula costing us the game, we simply just didn't make the one extra play period. O-line looks better with Norwell, Stew seems to be running hard, KB is a stud, Norman played great and the defense played well. Even in a loss we can take a lot of good things out of this game. Now we need to carry it over to NO game.

I believe that quote should be a banner in the Panthers' locker room.

 

The team who wants to win will find a way to win. The Seahawks proved it last season when they beat the Panthers in a pretty similar fashion last season. The Panthers' seemed to appear as if they grasped that philosophy last season when they was on their winning streak but seem to back to their old, we're playing not to lose selves.

 

There only seem to be three players on that team who will never give up until the whistle blows and one of them is clearly your QB.

That is becoming a pattern with this team and u wonder why Cam looked out of it. Can't get anything out of the running game on a consistent basis. Can't get anything out of his passing game on a consistent basis. And, the O-line have the opponents defense chasing him around the field pretty much on a consistent basis. But Panthers' fans will find anything about Cam to harp endlessly about and sit and wonder what is going on his head when he mis-throws a couple of balls.

 

You Panther fans will sit and watch how other team players step up to help their QB and believe the same is happening with Cam. I guess it's that "Oh well that's how it is sometimes" attitude u have towards the team and their plays, while having a more rigid and disciplined attitude towards Cam. Yeah, the word INCONSISTENT keeps coming to mind.

I dealt with a hawks fan in 530. He was doing their chant, and I commented that he was not even from Washington. He said he was from Tampa Bay in response and that he just can't cheer for the panthers. I followed with my own chant. Band! Wagon! Band! Wagon! Band! Wagon!
