Is it wrong to boo your team?

A unanimous boo erupted from the crowd when Shula called the screen on fourth down. Everyone face palmed at the single play call and the horrible drive.

As I joined in the discontent, I was told to cheer up by a random fan and that the Panthers played a decent game against the champs (that aren't playing like champs I might add). I told her that I was booing Shula and the lack of any production. I was then called a chicken poo fan.

This made me think, is it really wrong to boo your team if you're very irked at something, or should you clap and say good job at every situation?

people were not booing the team, they were voicing their opinion on that particular play that was called.  Even if that ball didnt get thrown in the dirt and was completed, it was going for maybe 5 yards, carolina needed 25 yards on 4th down. poor play choice

Nope, I am no longer a fan of this team. I will still post on here because I love the community here, but I refuse to support this team for the time being. I am now a Saints fan until further notice. The way this team has punished me weak in and weak out, its time they get punshed back by me switching to the most hated division rival.

    • Getting a general one going in the main forum a week ahead of the draft. Take this all with a grain of salt.  This stuff usually ends up wildly different; but truths are peppered in.   Notes as of late: The common top-4, barring trades: 1-Ward, 2-Hunter, 3-Carter, 4-Campbell (I do wonder if NYG take calls) Giants are seeing Shedeur once more but still sounds like they're leaning Carter (Maybe trading up from 34?) Jeanty to the Jaguars is starting to pick up legitimate steam.  Vegas odds have dramatically increased, Brugler and a few others have switched him as their JAX choice at 5.   If that happens, the Raiders could very well be eyeing Jalon Walker Jets choice to come down to Graham vs. Warren vs. Membou (if all 3 end up available) Panthers have been linked to both UGA guys, mostly Jalon Walker.  Buuut do wonder what happens if Graham is there. • Jost!  keeps the game alive
    • Heard a rumor Walker will be attending in the Panthers war room.  I may have made that up
