Is it wrong to boo your team?

A unanimous boo erupted from the crowd when Shula called the screen on fourth down. Everyone face palmed at the single play call and the horrible drive.

As I joined in the discontent, I was told to cheer up by a random fan and that the Panthers played a decent game against the champs (that aren't playing like champs I might add). I told her that I was booing Shula and the lack of any production. I was then called a chicken poo fan.

This made me think, is it really wrong to boo your team if you're very irked at something, or should you clap and say good job at every situation?

people were not booing the team, they were voicing their opinion on that particular play that was called.  Even if that ball didnt get thrown in the dirt and was completed, it was going for maybe 5 yards, carolina needed 25 yards on 4th down. poor play choice

No let them know the fans aren't happy with their play, it might make the players take notice and step up.

Nope, I am no longer a fan of this team. I will still post on here because I love the community here, but I refuse to support this team for the time being. I am now a Saints fan until further notice. The way this team has punished me weak in and weak out, its time they get punshed back by me switching to the most hated division rival.

Oh... on that play no NOTHING was wrong with booing our team.  But following a simple measly three and out or something miniscule yes it is ludicrous to do so.

The least that you hope for is a shot downfield on that last drive, especially after seeing what KB could do. We got dog poo.  Literally no gasp of even hope, the last play was the absolute worst.

You're a customer. If you're not satisfied with the product you have every right to voice your displeasure. Especially when a play is called that effectively just waves the white flag.
