FB is the worst place to talk sports. It doesn't matter what sport or what team. They're always full of idiots. Try making a negative comment about Cam Ward on the Hurricanes FB page after allowing 3-4 goals every time he's in net. You'll be called names and the homers come out in full force. The Panthers FB page is just as bad. It's like they don't even watch the games and just throwing whatever sticks on the wall. They're like the announcers from last week who talked about nothing but Cam after the defense allowed 3 TDs. A lot of stupidity on FB.

You just have to learn to tune out or ignore the social media nonsense. 95% of football "fans" don't even truly understand how the game works. All they see, is a scoreboard and a few stats and they spew fugging crap out of their mouths like they know what they are talking about. Truly annoying and irritating. Nothing more funny than on football Sundays to watch my Facebook newsfeed fill up with a bunch of John Madden wannabe's. Commentating on every other play in the game like they are some sort of certified referee or football God.

Bad attempt at trolling?  I swear to god.  Unless you are a blind follower in the Church-of-Cam there is no acceptance of any criticism here.  How about you throw some stats up?  How many playoff wins has he led us to? Superbowls? NFCS Championships (1, I know the answer to that because I'm not a troll). 10,000+ posts?  Figured you for an objective fan...guess you have been baptized in the fountain of Newton and blessed by the Pope Ace Boogie.

if there's one thing i've found out, about football and any other subject you want to name, it's that everyone wants their opinions to be just as good as yours regardless of how little thought they've put into it or evidence they can cull for it. they want their ignorance to be just as good as your knowledge.

 

i can't tell you how many facepalm statements about football i've heard while bartending from people who would get in your face if you challenged them about it.

Why not even fake a punt at the end of the game. Cause we practically new Punting was literally giving the game away.

How much you wanna bet, Rivera's probably haven't even practiced a fake punt and have it in his arsenal?

      That makes me wonder, how many starting tackles in the NFL and/or elite tackles have short arms? I feel like there’s probably lots of tackles that end up being drafted in later rounds because they had short arms or didn’t have the physical tools.

      Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game

      I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
