for all the talk here on the Huddle about how the Colts surround Luck with weapons, they haven't been doing a good job of it. If I was a Colts fan, i would want the Colts to get him at LEAST two more top recievers to go with Hilton, either WR and TE or TE and TE. Maybe Allen, Fleener and Moncrief pan out but i'd be looking for much better. Luck would be scary with Hilton, KB, and Olsen

Exactly. Luck has done a lot considering the talent that surrounds him. I am sure they will continue drafting to help him. I think we are also doing good. We have a good weapon in KB and Olsen. If we can get a speedster next draft like John Brown (ARZ) or TY Hilton (IND), Cam will have enough weapons to do some damage. I think the staff need to decide what they want to do with him, a runner or a passer.

i think the talk is about how they, at the very least, make an effort to surround him with weapons. they've added tons of offensive players since luck has been there.

 

reggie wayne - already there

TY Hilton - great receiver

dwayne allen - looks to be turning into a stud of a TE. great blocker, good red zone threat, improving as a receiver.

fleener - eh, he's alright as a #2 TE

trent richardson - whether you think it was a good idea or not, they took a risk for their young QB. + he has looked better this season

ahmad bradshaw - amazing pickup for their offense. great third down back. combined with t-rich for one of the top 1-2 punches in the league imo.

 

not to mention other young receivers they bring in: donte moncrief, da'rick rogers, etc. even guys like griff whalen, who played with luck in college. just another thing to comfort their young franchise QB.

 

and if you compare all that to the moves the panthers have made for their offense... you find the reason for all this anger on this message board
