That's it, I'm making it official

After going through kerry collins, steve buerlein, brian st pierre, rodney peete, vinny testaverde, jake delhomme, chris weinke, david carr and jimmy clausen, we finally have a legit franchise guy. The fact that we aren't building around him and he's getting beat like a drum every sunday makes it hurt that much more.  Seeing that dejected look on Cam's face after those two sacks at the end of the game said it all.  Those take their toll, and it's truly saddening seeing it week after week.  I couldn't be happier that we have Cam. He's the best thing to happen to the panthers in franchise history. I just hope the FO really tries to make some moves when they get out of cap hell because if Cam leaves, the panthers are a dumpster fire for years to come and it would really suck having to face him in the future on a more successful franchise that knows how to successfully utilize him.

well he wont be as good as he can be here, with this coaching staff.  that much i am sure of.

Packers - everyone knows they are terrible against running QB's.  We run 2 or 3 option plays.

Seattle - one of the best rush defending teams and they even practice against an even more elusive QB, and we decide to run him 12 times.

Cam has a few flaws, but his biggest flaw was being drafted by this organization.

Stupid is strong

It's almost over-powering.   However, let us lose to the Saints and watch the #tradeCamNewton take flight.  It's post like these that are going to make my "never read the forums Sunday after a loss" rule change to "never read the forums until Thursday".

Let me ask this question.  How would we feel about Cam if he was on a different team?  Would we still put him in the class of QBs who could win multiple superbowls?  Of course I would like some honest answers to this one.

Honestly Answer,  How many multiple superbowls does the guy who most say is the greatest QB ever won?

Of course it's not about actually winning multiple superbowls, as good as that would be.  I mean Bradshaw got 4 rings, and we all know he was average at best.  The emphasis is "could".  Andrew Luck could win multple.  Brees could win multiple, and of course he's already won one.  I just don't see that in Cam.  If I put Cam on the Rams (they have pretty good talent there), I don't see him winning a championship.  I put him on the Vikings, I can't see it.  If I replaced Cam with Tom Brady, I don't know if he's going to the dance.  I'm thinking even if we had adequate talent, people would still consider Cam to be a developing QB this early in his career.  I do think with the right coach, Cam would begin to either develop or fall by the wayside.  Give me a coach that is going to hold Cam accountable in getting the fundamental stuff down.  Give me, my dream, Peyton Manning.  Let him teach Cam a few Omaha calls.  Anything short of that, I don't see Cam becoming that franchise guy.
