That's it, I'm making it official

We all agree Cam doesn't have an O-line.  However that shouldn't stop him from mastering the fundamentals like stepping up in the pocket, not holding onto the ball for more than three seconds on average, etc.  If you're Newton, you have to demand these things of your offense.  Demand the coaching staff stop shuffling your already crappy O-line. (That's the first time I ever seen such a thing done)  You have to kill all these design runs, and throw to your best weapons often.  We came away with three field goals today, after being in the redzone probably more than five times.  Unbelievable, I don't care what your O-line looks like.

Except you know when he doesn't have a pocket to step into, and running from DE's to get enough space to toss away the ball without a penalty.

This stuff just cracks me up.

Give Cam Manning's Oline and you'd be on the goat band wagon no doubt.

Manning's o-line isn't top 5 but yes with that o-line Cam would be dominating the league. With the Cowboys' o-line he'd have 3000 yards and 30 TDs at this point in the season.

I read your post Matthias and you're contradicting yourself. Its either one or the other, Cam or Shula. Cam doesn't design the offense for more 5 WR sets, Cam doesn't call the plays. He doesn't call constant read option plays. Cam has stepped up plenty of times in this dreadful oline. Did you see Bennett go untouched on that almost safety?

We do better in the no huddle cause its really putting the game in Cam hands opposed to Shula hands. He gets to make the adjustments. Shula and Ron has stopped that, so this is what you get. 9 points, no TD's

This is why we have the shotgun formation and five receiver sets.  Where are they?  Why is Cam not demanding them behind the scenes?  I want a report this week, saying "Cam demands 5 receiver sets and less QB run design plays".  If I don't hear that, to me it means Cam is cool with all the gimmicks and the crud offense we put out there.  Meaning he still leans on his athletic ability.  Which would ultimately mean he's not going to turn out to be the QB I'm looking for.

He better start demanding more 5 receiver sets and less QB runs.  Of course I mention the staff because they are most likely going to be here for at least another year.  I don't see Rivera being fired after this season, and he's the main problem in terms of Cam's development.  Now if you could get me a Peyton Manning to coach this team or someone with his knowledge (Harbaugh), yeah, I'm excited again about Cam.  As it stands now, we'd be wasting money again signing him long term.
