This is something I've been watching for the past 3 weeks. We are approaching a point where simply winning every division game wins the division.

 

3-4-1 If Panthers sweep NFC South 8-7-1

 

2-4 Saints,     10-6   best possible

 

2-6 Falcons,    8-8   best possible

 

1-6 Bucs,       9-7   best possible

 

No this doesn't mean much. We could lose 3 division games very easily. We could win non division games very easily. But it's just to display how valuable division wins are as they pin a loss on our competition.

as tough as this loss is... we held Seattle to only 12 points. i still have hope we can put it all together at least for the division games. the defense woke up and remembered how to play today. our offense wont be down long. still alot of reason for hope with 8 more games to play. Panthers can still go 11-4-1

sadly if the saints take it with a losing record they would be far more respected than us... in fact they'd make a underdog story of it and create new stats records to glorify it. this is why we must become a true contender. not just the guys that happened to get there.
