Does Cam deserve "the contract" based on this season?

Looking at one season, not even halfway complete to make a determination on this is about as funny as playaction with a minute left and 80 yards to go.

Why were you watching our game and not the bills? Why are you here? Those are both legitimate questions I would like answered.

U folks are so damn arrogant, the forest is to dense for you to see the darn trees. I pray Cam's people ask for him to be TRADED. He needs to get the fug off this team while he is still young and have some talent and confidence left.

Even I am ready to say Cam needs to pass on any contract given to him by this team. The fans are ungrateful as fug and are just as clueless. All u folks have done since Cam came on board is analyzing every ish he does as if his fudging ass isn't allowed to make mistakes because of the shitty team u have given him to play with.

IT'S clear all you fans care about is having the best for dirt cheap and working his ass to the damn bones. I see the slave like mentality is still alive and well in the South. Sorry but....

Right now Cam averages slightly over 1 TD a game. Even though surrounding talent and OC have something to do with it how can you justify hundreds of millions with a 1 TD average? 

 

You really can't except with hypothetical scenarios.  He needs some competition.  Even if they let DA truly compete for that job.  I don't think we lose if DA was playing today.

 

I'd be completely comfortable having DA start if Cam bolted.

Wow you guys are pathetic. Cam breaks records his first three years in the league carrying the offense (including one of the top numbers of touchdowns) on his back and you want Derek Anderson to compete, even start over Cam. Anderson, the sixth round pick that failed throughout his entire career on four different teams with barely over 50% completion percentage. A man with more interceptions than touchdowns, and a staggering number of fumbles.

I answer this every week. It gets old. The game is on one TV. Bills game on the other. Bills game also on radio with stats on tablet.

I'm here for the same reason you are, though, the babes.

We will be utterly screwed if Carolina somehow lets Cam Newton walk away. It's a shame that some of you people can't see or realize this. Throw Russell Wilson or Andrew Luck in our system and lets see how much "success" they have. 

 

PLEASE DO!!! Luck and Wilson are damn good QB's and there is a reason they have top 7 Qb ratings in their first 3 years. Cam.... not so much. That doesn't even account for their superior leadership skills over Cam. Cam is one hell of a football player, but I would rather have consistent play than glits and glamore.

my thing with cam is him holding onto the ball too long and taking sacks.  we drive down the field with ease and the next thing you know it's 3rd and 18.  i'm not saying i don't want him as our franchise qb, but this and the high throws are still a problem in year 4.

 

sure its mostly on the oline, but it's also on cam.

I'd love to have him continue to be our QB but not for what he wants.  He's not playing at a high level.  Like I said in a previous thread.  It's either good Cam or bad Cam.  Lately it's all been bad Cam.  Right now he's about as consistent as Cutler.

 

At this point I'm leaning towards putting more talent around a QB, not signing a QB with poor talent around him.

 

Two highlights that shows me many of you simply don't know  what u are talking about. U are even contradicting yourself.

 

What do u define as "high level?" And how many of the young QBs would be able to play at a "high level" on this team? 

 

Yeah, don't pay him. Go out and get more talent and surround him with them. This is four seasons in and this team has yet to do that. Now the kid is up for a contract, and has been busting his ASS do far more than he should as a QB, u're suggesting they not pay him but pay other players to continue not helping him. 

 

Yup, U post once again shows how extremely clueless some of u Panthers fans really are. U now make the media's job real easy. They no longer have to undermine Cam. They just read sites like this and FB for the talking points.
