Playing to win versus playing not to lose

Which doesn't make sense. Its really Shula has a QB that he doesn't know how to utilize because he's an old school average offensive coordinator. Playoffs, twice we called a QB sneak with one yard to go when its clear it's failing. Today game we called it again. Our oline is full of UDFA. Its like having canned beans and expect it to taste like flaminyon. When Peyton is on the 1 yard line, it's shotgun like a regular play to throw defenses off

Cam threw for 4000 and 3800 under Chud under an aggressive offense. Under Shula he's barely going to put up 3,000. That's on all on Shula. And there are other things that play a part like lack of talent around Cam, but its your job to go play call around that. It's an excuse, but small excuse. If we get to the redzone, we should score. No excuse. No Huddle offense works, Shula throws it out the window cause its not his old school style of football and because of Rivera wanting the defense to stay fresh but they let Russell drive down the field and score. fuging bitches

Yup, the defense is always/mostly bad under Rivera regardless of what their ranking is. It's this way, because they can never stop anyone when they need to, especially at the end of games.

Anybody notice the difference at the end of the Panthers/Seahawks game vs Eagles/Cardinals game?

Eagles needed more than a FG to win with like 1:20 or so and the whole field to go.

They still lost but at least the receiver had a chance to win the game @ 0:01.

The Panthers just laid down.

Its like RR was literally the only mother fugger in the whole state who didn't realize Seattle was going to score a TD on their last possession.  There isn't a single stupid mother fugger on this forum who would have put money on us keeping them out of the end zone when their last drive started.

Wish I could pie you 3, 4, 5+  times; then again and again! :thumbsu:

That's so true.

Which is why I was saying in the game day thread with 2 minutes left Rivera better start calling timeouts so Cam has a chance if they score. Time was never an issue for the Hawks. Of course the combo of Rivera/Shula annihilated any shot we had anyways.

But that would mean that Rivera actually considered the possibility the Hawks would score.

Obviously, he wasn't using his TO's, cause that would have meant his beloved defense couldn't hold down the Hawks.

Duh Ron Ron.
