Luke is still the 2nd best defensive player in the league after Watt.  Our DLine has not been playing well so unfortunately Luke is forced to pick a gap sometimes.  When that happens it's one cut and we get gashed.

Plus Luke doesn't have any pass defenses. For 2 time defensive player of the year it's time to get back to his game and work commercials in the off season. For those talking about commercials they can be recorded and on air in less than a month. Sometimes in weeks so don't think those are off season commercials, the ones that are recently being played for the first tjme.

Luke is a game changer because offensive coordinators have to game plan for him every play. Not because of his number of tackles. Hasn't had to be done probably since Lawrence Taylor played. So why, all those years LT played, weren't the Giants the SB champs every single year? Because it's a team game.

 

The only time I think about the number of tackles is when it's a safety with the team high. That I worry about. Remember those years when Mike Mentor had the team high number of tackles? Ugh. [ Of course, there are those of you who aren't old enough to remember that. Lucky kids. ]
