Basically I wanna go to a concert this wknd with my boys. We were thinking of a trip up to Asheville to see Soundtribe but I just saw Capital Cities is playing the Grave Diggers Ball tomorrow. I like Capital Cities but Grave Diggers Ball sounds kinda lame. Ima be gettin down with my good friend Molly this weekend and I wanna make sure she has a good time. Anyone go to Grave Diggers Ball before? Any insight would be appreciated.

The GDB is lame as hell. Shitty pop radio music & shitty cheap macro lager beer. It's also boring. Its 18+ but they should let 15-17 year old girls in because it's catered for them. I went with my then gf several years ago & was bored outta my mind.

Honestly when ace and tj were doing gdb it was a good scene. Probably 10k people there and straight talent everywhere. I went last year or the year before not sure and it SUCKED. only about 1500 people there and mostly ugly chicks.

Yeah I just booked the tickets and hotel in Asheville. It's going to be sick. I just wish they had the Mountain Oasis Festival this year... pretty pissed they they didn't.

I'm going to get some backlash for this, but it wasn't that bad. It was just before she blew up. I was there with a bunch of people, it was my birthday and I was probably drunk. All those reasons may factor into why it wasn't terrible. I was going to have a good time no matter who performed.

No I had fun at that one too. Gdb in its hay day wasn't bad and it finished early so you could still hit up some bars down town

We passed by Cellular Center during the show and there were tons of ambulances and fire trucks. We wondered what was going on when we saw a naked guy on a stretcher.
