did any of the rest of you hear the Mic mixon comment tonite about Conner? He said he was talking to jordan Gross right after a practice play when Gross looked like he was ready to puke and Gross was saying that conner had just hit him harder than anyone else had ever hit him before. Apparently Brad Hoover was right there and said something like " yeah He hit me the same way".

8 tackles tonite.

I think we have something to look forward to in Conner.

Connor had 4 tackles and 4 assists. Leman impressed me as well with 6-1.

Connor and Leman both had good games. Both can contribute on ST but we shouldn't expect anything more this season (barring injury of course). Diggs, Beason and Davis have the starting roles locked up and Connor may get spot duty bc the coaches do sound high on him, but it'll be at least another yr before he see's much playing time and he'll need to convert to an outside position.

One thing I did notice with our LB's last night is that they were switching positions alot. Meeks seems to like to shift the LB's to one side almost creating an extra DL and playing with 2 LBs. When they did this they would bring a safety up from the secondary close to the LBs for backside run support. Very interesting.
