How would you build your offense around Cam?

O-line and WR. O line will allow us to run but specifically run Cam better.

I don't build any differently than I would around any other quarterback.

 

O-Line first, then receivers/tight end, then runningbacks.

 

A few years ago, I'd probably have put runningbacks second, but not the way the league is these days.

FIFY Rationale: 

LT - we need a long term permanent fixture at this spot, preferrably a high draft pick like Scherff or Peat 

LG - Norwell has tons of experience @ LG and based on last Sunday's game looks better suited there than @ OT. We need his athleticism, size, strength and demeanor on the interior (and would pair well w/Kalil)

C - no explanantion needed unless Kalil is somehow jettisoned for cap or other reasons (shouldn't happen but stranger things have)

RG -  no explaination; Turner has done well for a rookie and will only get better IMO

RT - agreed w/draft OR FA (though the pickings have been slim in recent years). I would prefer to see Kugbilla recover from injury and work out here, as he has the size and athleticism but health and/or work ethic is a big ? at this point and remains to be seen if he will be retained after being on IR the past two years.

 

Agreed that Bell, Foucalt should be backups; Silatolu will be in the last year of his rookie contract and should also be a backup @ best or cut along with Nate Chandler, Chris Scott and any other scrub on the roster. The team should also use the later rounds and FA to build solid depth here.

We could have witnessed that if we went after Chip Kelly 2 seasons ago. Instead, we were content with freakin Rivera. I wanted Chip Kelly so bad that offseason.

An offensive line that can destroy a dline and make linebackers drop into coverage out of fear and lingering pain.

Number 2.  With teams having to worry more about a downfield passing attack, it opens lanes for him and whoever is at RB for us to run more effectively.  Obviously the focal points on offense should be the OL first, WRs second, with barebones spent on RB.

When you have a QB like Cam its all about your oline. Point blank period. That's pretty much the case for any premier offensive player. Create space on the field for players to make plays in one on one situations. The father down the field you can create those one on one opportunities the better your offense. Not many safeties or linebackers for that matter want to square up on Cam.

With a good O-Line Stewart wouldn't keep getting injured as often considering he wouldn't have to fight off 5 defenders for a 2 yard gain on a lot of his plays
