How would you build your offense around Cam?

Build a superior run blocking Oline.

First and foremost.........  a run blocking Oline.

Get that run blocking Oline,  and our stable of no-name RBs (after Dwill and Stewart) will suddenly start looking amazing as they run through huge holes.   Will also help Cam when he opts to keep the ball.

I just wanted to give you a shoutout for saying the same thing three times in a different way. Its totally not redundant

The team

QB Cam /Anderson / Webb

OT Draft or FAG TurnerC KallilG NorwellOT Draft or Fa

FB Tolbert

TE Olsen / Williams / Dickson

Bell and Foucault, second string OT  Chandler Silatolu cut.

With a better offensinve line, run or pass no one care, you win.

Cam and the offense need better line play.  You have to get more talented players than we do have.  They need to execute the game plan according to what the coaches are teaching them.  They need to be aggressive tone setters.  That solves a lot of problems.

On the flip side, we need more production out of the D Line.  Does that include Greg Hardy?  Or does the next man up really need to man up?  Oh yeah, then there is the entire defensive backfield....yeah...

I would never draft defense in the first 5 rounds,.  All offense

I would sign every FA regardless of current or future cap implications

Whenever we struggle I would make sure that everyone on the offense except Cam knows they weren't doing there jobs.

Any dropped passes results in getting immediately cut.  I mean that to.  Not after the game, right then during the game I would be handing guys pink slips

I would fire OCs on a consistent basis.  No OC would get a yearly contract, they would only get weekly contracts, if we don't score over 30 points the OC is fired

I would fire the head coach anytime he doesn't go for it on 4th and 1 because "God just run it with Cam, you play to win the game... derp"

Kelly's offense is too plug-n-play. I don't think it would be much more with Cam, than it is now.

I think it would have taken more overhaul with our offensive personnel(oline ecspecially) but deff think Cam > foles and I love the prospect of Cam constantly in up tempo...I think Kelly does a good job of playing to player strengths, creating mismatches and putting players in positions to make plays...not saying it would be a cure all but definitely would be interesting to see

1. He needs at least an average OL.

2. See 1. Slightly above average would give him a legit rush attack to play off of

3. He needs someone who legitimately can stretch the field on the outside. Not just a dude with a fast 40 but an actual dude who plays football well (doesn't have to be some elite dude)

That's it. Boom. Won't matter who the OC is ( that of course assumes you keep Benji and a quality TE in the mix)

1 is the 49ers

2 is the Packers

3 is the Bengals

4 is the Eagles

Give me the Eagles spread attack with a Niners run game that can effectively control the time of possession when necessary. Gus Malzahn.

Ideally, you want to put Cam in situations were his dual threat has to be respected at all times, but you don't want him leading the team in rushing unless, as was the case against the Bengals, he absolutely has to carry the offensive load.

Bingo. Very well stated. Only wish our FO would understand this. And, as stated earlier, fix that damn OL. OL, WR and DB has been neglected for far too long.

I would strive for mismatches and spread the field.  I would improve the O-line but not if I have to gut the defense to do it.  Cam doesn't need a pure pocket passer Oline.  He needs a line where his blocking doesn't disintegrate every 3rd play.   I would improve the overall speed and quickness of the WR core.  Watching Peyton manning throw 7 yards slants to Thomas who then goes 70 yards is a luxury.  We have no WR on the roster other than possibly Philly that can turn a short gain into a big one.
