Division Title at 7-8-1?

I mean, you do remember last year right?

Actually every year under Rivera we've started out slow and turned it around to finish out the year pretty damn good. This year we got to a much better start than 2011 and 2012 and arguably 2013 though we were showing improvemnt by this point in the season last year. I would bet a hell of a lot of money that we get atleast 8 wins. Whether that'd win the division or not I don't know.

Seriously?  The Panthers have never turned a bad start into a good finish?  It is sad when posters do not even know the history of the Panthers yet comment like the do.

i'm talking about back to back winning seasons.  should have clarified, my bad.  dude i quoted was talking about negativity around here.  wasn't talking about ron getting hot at the end of the year again.  but yes, that would give us back to back winning seasons.

So, yesterday on ESPN radio, the national guys were talking about the NFCS and how poor it was.  They began discussing what it will take to win the division, and one of the guy really believed that we could win the division at 7-8-1.  That got me thinking, how would everyone feel about that?  I saw a lot of discussion in the offseason about finally having back to back winning seasons, even if we didn't make the playoffs, but with the way things are going, there is a possibility that just the opposite could happen.  I personally don't think it will, but thought the point being made was worthy of a conversation.  I also figured this would break up some of the Harper Sucks, Cason Sucks, and Bell Sucks discussion.

I'd be happy as hell.

Winning season?  Or playoffs with a home game?  Either way one of the streaks gets snapped.

Give me playoffs with a home game..

Sadly I believe we can win the division with that record. If we happen to go on a roll in the second half of the season like we have the past few years I see us having a decent shot at doing well in the playoffs. If we happen to get Hardy back in time for the playoffs I see us becoming a different team. I know Alexander will be available the last two weeks of the season.

If we happen to get both Hardy and Alexander our defensive line will be where it left off last year,

I know people want to talk about how bad this division supposedly is, but the Saints won't likely stay down like this for the whole season, and we all know the Falcons play us tough. I certainly wouldn't be automatically penciling in any wins yet. We still have 5 divisional games left.

This team is winning it all this year. WGAF what our record is in the regular season, it just doesn't matter. Get in the playoffs and WIN. Screw the naysayers, those of little faith, and the national media.

Also when your in BOA cheer these boys on, and stop sitting on your damn hands. If someone standing up in front of you pisses you off, watch the game on your fugging coach.
