Division Title at 7-8-1?

So, yesterday on ESPN radio, the national guys were talking about the NFCS and how poor it was.  They began discussing what it will take to win the division, and one of the guy really believed that we could win the division at 7-8-1.  That got me thinking, how would everyone feel about that?  I saw a lot of discussion in the offseason about finally having back to back winning seasons, even if we didn't make the playoffs, but with the way things are going, there is a possibility that just the opposite could happen.  I personally don't think it will, but thought the point being made was worthy of a conversation.  I also figured this would break up some of the Harper Sucks, Cason Sucks, and Bell Sucks discussion.

Three years from now when we remember this team as the first team to ever win b2b NFCS and the first Panther team with b2b winning seasons, is anyone really going to remember how bad we were?

I agree.  Win is a win and if the division is won with 8, so be it.  It's happened before.

I think that the negativity around here is at an all time high.

If you told me we'd start out 3-3-1 after 7 weeks, I'd have been disappointed, but some of y'all are just really trippin. We're going to turn this thing around.

We will continue to send the SeaChickens into their downward spiral, and I predict a "pie to everyone" thread by 4 pm Sunday.

Historically, the team hasn't been able to "turn it around".  Year after year it's the same poo and some skepticism is ok.

Would 7-8-1 be considered a winning season? Because technically it's not.

Given the least possible outcomes, this is what's up

Seachickens - Loss

vs Saints - Win

@ Philly - LOSS

vs Falcons - Win

@ Vikings - Win

@ Saints - Loss

vs Bucs - Win

vs Browns - Win

@ Falcons - Win

think 9-6-1 could be possible, but yeah, given a flop against the browns and falcons 7-8-1 is more than possible.

Us - Loss

Niners - Loss

Bungals - Loss

Ravens - Loss

@ Steelers - Loss

Us - Win

@ Bears - Loss (i just see it, esp in december at night)

vs Falcons - Win

@ Bucs - Win

thank god they have a poo schedule. The Falcons don't even count so they aren't worth posting.

It really does all hinge on the Saints game next Thursday. Win that one and we are set up nicely to take care of business. Lose and it's back to hoping the division can be historically bad.
