The Seattle Seahawks’ Big Problem

LUUUUUKE

In light of this article, I think it sheds light on why Detroit has been so dominant of Defense this year. They have a very deep rotation at DL, as do the Packers. I'm glad I came across the article. I feel like a better educated fan because of it

that and Levy and Tulloch are playing at the level Luke and Thomas were last year.  Their secondary talent is about what ours was last year.

They also have a problem in the 1st quarter:

Seattle Times:

The first quarter: Seattle coach Pete Carroll preaches often that what matters most is how the Seahawks finish, not how they start. But this feels like a game when a quick start is pretty vital, given all that has been swirling about the team this week. Among the many differences beginning to be apparent about the Seahawks this year and last season is its first-quarter dominance. A year ago, Seattle outscored opponents 69-22 in the first quarter, and trailed at the end of the first quarter just three times. Seattle has already allowed as many points in the first quarter this year as it did last season, 27, while scoring 33, and has trailed twice.

Hi,

First of all let me say that I am a Seahawks fan, have been since '76.  I'm too old to change now. Not trolling here, just

putting my two cents in.

Can't help but notice how similar our two teams are. We are both 3 and 3 ish, we should both be at 5 and 2 or better

played well last year, this year not so much. Lots of penalties and mistakes on both sides of the ball. Lots of injuries

at this point into the season.

That being said, I would like to point out some observations I have made concerning the Seahawks and why I think they

are playing poorly.

1. The O.  line has been doing a remarkable imitation of a revolving door. They are basically inviting pass rushers to

come in and take a shot at RW. As sturdy as Russell has been this year, I'm afraid he  is going out on a stretcher

if that isn't fixed. Reminds me of someone trying to catch minnows with a salmon net.

2. Our  ends think end pressure has something to do with hemorrhoids and is avoided at all cost.

3. Marshawn doesn't realize he is in a contract year.

4. Our receivers must be wearing Teflon coated gloves , nothing sticks to them. Also had to go to the dictionary to

    find out what separation means.

5. Our one healthy CB told everyone after SB 48 that he has trouble with double moves.

6. Our D line forgot to get on the bus, or forgot their playbooks or, both.

7. The defense thinks the football may be infected with the Ebola virus and will not intercept passes or recover fumbles.

8. Everyone thinks penalties are great because you get your name mentioned on TV and in the papers.

We have players approaching rock star status If you do the math.

I think it will be a close game. I see us being down 7-0 in the fourth quarter and our  offense  not being able to

get the ball into the endzone.  Hauschka comes on for a 79 yard field goal attempt and kicks the football with

supersonic velocity right in between the butt cheeks of the long snapper with enough force to propel him into

the endzone where it drops out and the Hawks fall on it for a touchdown. As we are kicking off . a  Boeing

787 dumps a load of blue ice which hits the power station causing a total blackout of the stadium. After a 40 minute

delay, the game officially ends in a tie. .............Could happen !

Seriously, I know both are good teams and I hope we have a terrific game on Sunday.  Few penalties and

fewer injuries .  Good Luck!  Yes I do root for you guys when you're not playing us. Possibly see you guys in

December?
