I nominate Cason as our next defensive scapegoat.

 

He should have already been the #1 scapegoat, and Harper #2.

 

One good thing that will come of this is when Wilson is looking like the next GOAT this Sunday we won't just see post after post bashing Godfrey the whipping boy. Then again I could see Norman have a single penalty or maybe missing a tackle and the Huddle blowing up and blaming him again, even though he's obviously our most talented DB next to White (who apparently is the coaches whipping boy for some reason?).

Yeah but about 20 of those tackles are on missed coverages by him resulting in 100s of yards gained against us.

 

Yeah but he's just not a #1CB so I have a hard time blaming him when he's put in that position.  I think he'd be a really good number 2, he seems to come off his man pretty quick to find the ball and is creating turnovers.  He just doesn't have the fluidity or speed of a 1.

Need a Nickel back while Bene is out.

I was just thinking about that. I don't know when Bene will be back but no doubt he can be our nickle back. I am guessing if Norman comes back that either Cason or White will be the nickel. We also have Dockery.

Godfrey was our nickle since Bene was out if I am correct ?

This doesn't fix Cason and Harper. Godfrey was basically just Bene's backup at this point.

Not really he saw the field even when Bene played. And if Bene gets reinjured or can't play yet you really want Godfrey as the backup? He was picked on almost every blowout and I'm so happy they finally stopped making excuses because he naybe a nice guy but nice doesn't win games
