NFL in Los Angeles

I agree. LA Jaguars has a ring to it. Who knows if a team will be successful (sellout) here though. Way too many variables.

This never ceases to amaze me, questioning the SoCal fan's desire to attend games.

Dodgers draw 3-4 million whether they suck or lead the West.

Angels, always push 3 million.

Kings, Ducks, Lakers and yes even the Clippers fill their venues win or lose.

The Rams in Los Angeles from 1946 to 1994 were no different.

This despite Los Angeles has NEVER had a stadium built for NFL Football.

Don't know if they still do it but the Raider fan and the fights etc was so bad when Oakland came to San Diego to play the Chargers they would not sell Raider game tickets as singles. You could only buy Raider tickets as a non Season Ticket holder if you bought a group of games.

Anything they could do to keep the Raider fan out of the stadium.

what a novel idea. i know a certain organization in the Carolinas that ought to do this immediately. keep people who arent fans of the team out of their stadium. i mean... they get overrun every year by fans of opposing teams. surely that would give a clear message to ownership that something needs to be done...

Virtually any other Franchise would thrive in LA with a proper stadium, although I would prefer expansion. I don't want any city losing their team.

i also prefer this method. it would be good for the league to expand to 36 teams. give LA a team, and 3 other teams to any of the multitude of cities that could and would support an NFL fanbase. i mean... if teams like the Panthers, Titans, Chargers, etc. can stay afloat, so could a team from Portland, OK City, San Antonio, Vegas, etc. im not opposed to a team in Mexico City, London, or Honolulu either... though i'll admit that they are more long shots.

I hope they do not go this way since thirty-six teams would mess up the schedule that is currently done very well.  Unless of course they went to six divisions of six teams, I am not in favor of any division having more teams than another.

I think the most of us in the SoCal area agree with not wanting Oakland to be anywhere near us. Their fanbase is just bad.

Here are the reasons why this will not happen (atleast a joint franchise venture):

1) Oakland doesn't have the money

2) Oakland refused to be a co-tenant with the 49ers but would rather relocate

3) Oakland and SD are in the same Conference

4) Oakland and SD are in the same Division

I think over the years that the niner fan base has surpassed the raiders as far as being douchebags and all.  That said, I've never...and I mean never...had any desire to set foot in any part of the city of Oakland.

Nah, the Raiders are firmly planted in California's gang culture.

We're not talking @holes, we're talking criminals.

I may be in the minority here, but I would love to hear the "Los Angeles Raiders" again. It would be like NWA and the early 90's all over. I already have a Los Angeles Raiders hat, so I'm practically half-way there as a fan. Just need to make sure I still have my bulletproof vest lying around.

thats what I thought but then I remembered bo jackson>like 2-14

That is because the Raiders have sucked for a dozen years or so.  Many of their douchebags are either in hibernation or, more likely, are now the douchebag 49er fans of which you speak.
