Scheme needs to be switched up. We can't afford to rush 4 that can't get there with a garage secondary.

Need to just blitz heavy. What happens, happens. We will still give up plays doing that but hopefully it helps us make some too for a change. Better that than just being a punching bag.

Fox had a season where in infamously did that at halftime of another standard beatdown....and kept it going to finish the year

 

As much as I hate to say it, I think this might be the best answer right now. Blitzing can leave you vulnerable, but the secondary just doesn't have the speed to make up for the lack of pass rush this team has. Keep rushing 4 and the other team will have all day to pick on guys like Harper and Godfrey. I loathe the idea of sending that extra guy so often, but what can you do with no pass rush and no speed on the back end?

Why is Rivera so enamored with Godfrey?  I know he does all the right things, hard worker, etc. but there comes a point where if you're a liability, you're liability.
