I'd expect Norman to be back for sure this week. Only reason he didn't play this week according to RR before this weeks game, is that he didn't get enough reps due to concussion protocol.

Is there anyway to justify not giving Lester a shot a saftey. It is impossible to fathom he could be any worse, and when given a shot last year he performed better than Harper has this season.

I use to think I hated Harper when he played for the Saints but a least back then he was helping us win games, now he is costing us games.

 The plan is to give Boston a shot at Safety. They see him as the future, not Lester.

You need to be looking at Byron Bell.  When a 330lb lineman gets pancaked by a 240lb linebacker over and over he doesn't deserve a job.  At least Decoud has made a couple of plays this year.

No changes?  Really?  Seriously, you could put a spicy bean burrito at Safety and it would play better than Harper.  Last year they TRADED Beason.  This year, they benched White...but Harper, Cason, Godfrey, and Bell don't deserve anything.  Here is the problem with the team right now, PURE AND SIMPLE, there is absolutely no accountability.  No actions (or in these players cases, inactions) don't have ANY negative repercussions.  Bet you when jobs were on the line, some of these players dig deep down and finally start playing like the NFL players they are supposed to be.  I never go this overboard, but man this is infuriating.

Yea, but no team is changing their gameplan for Harper or Cason at this point either, and because of their "tenure" in the NFL, it would send a MUCH more defined message of accountability if told one or both will not be playing due to poor play.

Outside of inserting Boston into the lineup on defense, and playing back up OL, what else is there to really change?

 

Whenever Bene comes back he'll automatically go back to being the Nickel, but its not like we don't already know what we have with our CBs, which all pretty much suck.  Flip flopping White for Norman and vice versa is exchanging crap for other crap.

Scheme needs to be switched up. We can't afford to rush 4 that can't get there with a garage secondary.

Need to just blitz heavy. What happens, happens. We will still give up plays doing that but hopefully it helps us make some too for a change. Better that than just being a punching bag.
