This lack of heart

The 49ers basically did it. Even People within the organization want Ray McDonald suspended and the GM basically said no not until due process plays itself out. I am not saying we should tell Goodell to go f*ck himself but he should of handled the situation better.

I know Ray hasn't been convicted yet and Hardy has but then again Hardy is still going to court and appealing the charges. My question is why can't the NFL either suspend him for 6 games already or let him play? The games he is missing probably won't even count towards the suspension. Since the NFL is handling the situation this way it's like Hardy is being penalized even more which is unfair.

The fact of the matter is Hardy, guilty or not should be playing after missing 6 games.

Not convicted?  They haven't even filed charges.

Thanks for the info, I really don't know much about the Ray McDonald situation other than what I heard a few weeks ago on a Sunday night game.

Worth noting that the investigating officer worked part time for the 49ers as gameday security.

(but I'm sure that;s got nothing to do with it)

I will never quite possibly get why JR gets negativity from people. This guy made it possible for us to have a team. I watched football as a child was not all that into it but when the Panthers came, my passion grew. There are several reports on how great of a guy JR is and can be. He cares about winning probably more than some of you do. I remember Jordan gross came up to JR after the 2010 season and asked what is the plan. JR told him, we are going to get a franchise QB and get an attacking offense and we did. I said that to say, He cares about winning, It is the former football player in him. He wants to win. The players respect. Even after how the panthers handled Steve Smith, Steve still states he respects and love JR.  If it was about money, maybe he would have told TD to give up after the 3rd surgery but no, he encouraged him to give it another go. I shake my head at a lot of posts degrading this guy.

Either way Hardy has been banned 6 games and still has no timetable for a return. The only thing I can logically think of is that we want him to settle his legal issue before he can play. Which in my opinion is BS.

The team would have let him continue to play had the NFL not stepped in.  They made that clear in the presser.

The league apparently doesn't see McDonald as affecting their image.  Hardy, on the other hand...

I can definitely say that the Cowboys are winning despite Jerry Jones and not because his passion for the team as an owner. Recall the downward spiral they have been in until this year with him trying to put his opinions into everything.

This isn't over yet, wait until December. Lol

    • I think remember doing mock Sims for Carolina as many others, I don't think any of picked RBs in any rounds.... I honestly had the same "my team let me down" feels with the BY pick........just WHY all the holes and one of the spots were they have depth AND the RB market is at the lowest point in NFL history..... Just a    Per normal the huddle was for all for Zach Frazier, not me I wanted Marshawn Kneeland. Plus I wanted to REMAIN AT whatever LA pick and NOT TRADE UP FOR A ACL injuried RB. My friend was right, Dan did draft like he was still playing in his era..... ugh, Brandt and Dan cannot have that same problem this year......its beginning year 2 of a full 3 year rebuild..... for fugs sake, please find some talent and depth in later rounds....
    • Yeah, also on the most talented team in the country for the most part.  It doesn't matter. We will see what happens.
    • I mean you are making the Brian Burns argument again. Would you rather have Brian Burns or Trey Hendrickson(taken in the 3rd round) in hindsight?  We will see how it all shakes out but don't be surprised if Stewart never really fully develops.
