I can definitely say that the Cowboys are winning despite Jerry Jones and not because his passion for the team as an owner. Recall the downward spiral they have been in until this year with him trying to put his opinions into everything.

I know this will come to a shock to some people on this forum, but to the players, this is a job first.  A way to feed their families.  I think it would be more of not wanting to risk injury then lack of heart.  IMO, I think players need to have more incentive heavy contracts.  Give them a 2nd reason to make plays.

 

A lot of our secondary are on 1 or 2 year deals. I think it's a matter of them being washed up.

 

 

On the radio broadcast at halftime, Jordan Gross said he overheard a defensive coach ask players in the lockerroom "ARE YOU SCARED?".  That's probably the worst question a football player can be asked.

My God by and large Jerry Jones is an embarrassment to the league.

Since firing Jimmy Johnson and the effects of his presence wore off the Cowboys have been a laughing stock.

JR while respected around the League does move way too slowly on the football operations side at times imho.

Sometimes a meddling owner like Jones telling Rivera to blow out McCoy is a good thing. Sometimes.

I believe you are trying to reference "lack of heart" with emotion? Problem is, most can't play with "emotion" since they make too many mistakes.

If you are referring to intensity, Luke has been. Short as well! Very few have that hidden intensity gear tho

Maybe he is scared to move.  Hard to act a fool when you've had heart problems forever, and currently have someone else's heart in your chest anyway.

You do understand that the "lack of heart" statement does not literally mean the heart in your chest that pumps blood throughout your body?  I mean, you understand that right?
