regardless, i myself am not sure if cam is worth that much money. on one hand, he often is the entire team (see bengals game), on the other hand, he does some pretty dumb, and i mean dumb poo. i'll pull a Mr. Scot and just say that this is the case where there's no clear cut answer.

All QBS have different pros and cons. My only criticism of the scrambling QBS is there are high injury risks and they get slower when they're older while defenses just keep getting faster.

Yea cuz last year's Super Bowl winners had a statuesque traditional pocket passer at QB and they made that super mobile spry scrambling QB they faced look foolish.

Just stop it. Getting a QB is the most important part to buidling a franchise. Cam is a solid QB who is still developing. He has made great strides in being a pocket passer.

What are you talking about stepping up in the pocket? Go and watch his play from last week. There was that Brandon William completion where he climbed the pocket to hit him on a crossing route for 16yds and a first down.

Cam has been our leading rusher since he got here because we've needed him to be. Put a pure pocket QB behind this OL and see how well that works out. Peyton would have never broken Favre's record in Carolina because he would already be retired if he was taking the hits he'd be seeing behind this OL.

Tired of hearing about Cam running the ball and you blame Cam for this? You saw what happened with our run game when Cam was limited to the pocket the first quarter of the season right?

Cam is a pass first QB. He steps up in the pocket and isn't afraid to take a hit. Again, blaming Cam for things he has to do that aren't part of his job description because the FO isn't doing their job.

Other teams have guys that can run the ball. You want a guy know for throwing? Go cheer for Drew Brees

Why don't we build a team around him with coaches that properly know how to utilize him. Cam makes mistakes but this season is not Cams fault. He has greatly progressed as a pocket Passer. We have got to get a good line in front of him. If we do he will excel inside the pocket more than you can imagine. When it breaks down no one will be able to do the things that he can do.

This is Cam Derangement Syndrome. This is not an original idea worthy of a thread. Without Cam, we would be near the Raiders and Jaguars right now. There are 52 other men on the roster, a head coach, a GM, I'd argue every last one of them should be getting more criticism than Cam except maybe JJ Jansen.

I hope every last one of you talking poo about Cam tonight has a bad Monday tomorrow. I hope your alarm clock doesn't go off. I hope you get stuck in traffic. I hope your shitty boss yells at you and I hope customers complain that you're being too slow with their fries. Please get a life.
