Can we ever become a great team with Rivera at the helm

My man with the amount of mistakes we have been making I'm not sure if having Hardy will help. All we can do is hope that's the reason why because if not somebody is going to be in hot water.

You would be surprised at what one player can mean to a team. Hardy for sure was commanding double teams and shutting his side down. Now there are Jag over there and it shows.

Have to agree though, Fox is on his way to another Super Bowl...would you rather have Fox or Rivera nods was a Head Coach.

Fox also has Peyton Manning, an above average o-line and several playmakers on defense.... put those guys on the Panthers with RR as coach and we're a one loss team.

We haven't became a great team yet so probably no. This team is still making mistakes that we seen from them in Riverboat Ron first season. Only this time we are getting blown out and teams are dropping damn near 40 on us a game.

it also doesn't help that today's football is more offense driven and depending on which team the Panthers are playing, the Refs tend to be very generous with fouls calls against this team's defense.

Don't be surprised if the Seahawks also blow the Panthers out thanks to bad ref calls. Especially since the Seahawks are coming off their own back to back losing streak.

I have been saying it since I came on this site, there is something extremely undisciplined about this team. I don't know if it's the coach's fault or the players, but it's very obvious to an outsider like myself.

Jon Fox has probably the best defense in the NFL right now,and Peyton Manning is running the offense,so,John Elway knew the whole time what he was doing whenever he put this pair together.you have just have to HAVE a good defense in order too win it all, plain and simple, and dont be shocked when the Broncos dont do a 180 in the Superbowl this year compared to last because of that defense.

Not to compare Cam to Michael Jordan, but I've long thought that Rivera was our Doug Collins. A good coach but not a great one, that could win but would never get over the hump, and that in order to get the most out of Cam, we have to find his Phil Jackson.

P.s. I'm not going to lie, I thought that guy could have been Chip Kelly before the Eagles hired him.

Imagine the numbers Newton would be putting up with Chip Kelly as his HC? :cigar:

And the defense couldn't be any worse. :phew:

No!

Rivera's too loose a coach in so many ways.

He's bad at time management. He's usually not aggressive enough. Plays for FG too much, even when he shouldn't. Team seems undisciplined this year. Though he's a defensive coach, his teams have had way too many game losing lapses; if not outright bad, such as 2011 and 2014. He usually doesn't make the tough decisions with staff. And it goes on and on.

Once again; no!

he sucks hes a horrible coach
