Very true and ANYONE that knows football knows that you can't execute your gameplan the same way.

 

However anyone that knows football also knows MOMENTUM is the largest part of the game.

 

Had we even gotten 7 points in that first quarter it could've been anyone's game at that point....sadly the bleeding didn't stop at 21 anyway.

 

True. I also thought Shula called some bad plays especially in that first quarter. I have no idea why he keeps running cotchery on deep routes. He almost never has any decent separation.

Just since we are talking about Cam. I thought it was lame for NBC to show his one pick when the team is down 35-3.  They show like 3 plays from our games a week and that was one of them? Kind of felt like they were trying to throw a bone to the Cam haters.

 

If they wanted to show our offensive ineptness to the viewers, they could have done it before the game was out of reach.

After we went down by 7, the offense also had an opportunity. We can't blame the defense for those three and outs.

 

You can't expect the Offense to always score or always score in the first quarter. If you look at any other games, there are teams that don't score until midway in the 2nd quarter or after the half. poo happens. It's not a Cam specific thing as if every other qb is perfect.

You recall wrong. I think it was this preseason, not last season. And you would realize that as I said, the only thing that has changed is the fact that he is beginning to trust his ankle. I am worried about his footwork regressing.

 

And yeah, if you will stop being blind and sensitive at the mention of Cam, you will realize I am also one of the first guys to post links to media articles praising Cam.

Yes but in a game where our defense plays well and his high throws exist, we are not setting ourselves up to win. We don't have to wait for that to happen.

Fire Shula. That's all I can say. He's never going to be a great offensive coordinator which is what we need. Dude is mediocre.

Defense gave us no chance to win today, but the offense wasn't much better.

 

It took two great catches on screens to keep us above 50% completions.

 

8 of our first 9 drives ended in punts or turnovers. The two touchdowns were both in garbage time.

 

The pass protection was spotty, but not nearly the dumpster fire some fans try to make it out to be. 

 

Olsen was good, Benji was good, Stewart ran hard and the line overall was fair.
