Cam was off today

He certainly didn't have his best game today.  And I agree, his throws were a little high.  Of course, its also true that we didn't have many receivers open.

Green Bay looked really fired up and ready for this game, whereas we did not.  On both sides of the ball.

Fwiw, the defense and the offense played equally bad today.  Its true that our defense gave up points early and often.  Its also true that our offense had 5 yards or whatever it was at the end of the first quarter.

lol I do think that it's funny that ANY mention of the incompetence of the offense is simply countered with "But our Defense...."

CLEARLY our D is the weak link (who'd think I'd be saying this last year smh); but everyone could use some work. From the top down.

Definitely Cam wasn't sharp today but that mainly came after the first quarter when we were already down 21 points. Being down that big after the first quarter is demoralizing. It may have made the whole offense discombobulated.

If you isolate bad throws and fret over them, than every QB is going to worry you.

Cam is not yet a top 5 QB. He is like most young guys, up and down. If you try to compare him at this stage to guys like Manning or Rodgers, he isn't those guys yet.

But you shouldn't have to rely on a guy being an all time great every game to win.

I wouldn't worry about it much. Defense should be the topic of every body discussion. Shula isn't a high power offense guy. I watch teams and I wonder how do they constantly get their guys in one on one matchups. It can be either personnel or coaching, or ultimately both. Being down 21-0 in the first fuging quarter against a 3-4 = doom for Panthers

3-4 = doom for Panthers period

We've poured countless resources into our defense, our offense is not built to win in a shootout week to week. Simple as that.

I'm talking about his high throws making a come back. I am afraid him getting confidence back in his ankle may be messing with his footwork.

It's called being under pressure it happens to all QB when they are constantly under pressure.

Very true and ANYONE that knows football knows that you can't execute your gameplan the same way.

However anyone that knows football also knows MOMENTUM is the largest part of the game.

Had we even gotten 7 points in that first quarter it could've been anyone's game at that point....sadly the bleeding didn't stop at 21 anyway.

Very true no question about it. Like I said D is the weak link which no one would've ever guessed coming in.

No team whatsoever specifically this one should be expected to win a game when the D is allowing 20+ points every week... let alone our offense.

After we went down by 7, the offense also had an opportunity. We can't blame the defense for those three and outs.
