I hope not. If Ron gets the boot, I'd really prefer an offensive minded guy. We have a defensive minded guy right now and we may still have the worst defense in football by the time the season is done. It seems like the D gets worse every week.

Coughlin is an offensive guy for whom Gettleman has loads of respect.

I also believe Jerry Richardson trusts Dave Gettleman enough to give him plenty of leeway in a head coaching search.

I am not so sure trying to put more points on the scoreboard is the real answer to our problems,because,its not a philosophy that is as effective in the NFL compared to the college game.if you dont believe me,then just ask the New Orleans Saints,who are ranked #2 in the NFL in total offense with over 400 yards per game.
