It's a valid point. He performed well in the Super Bowl under Meeks and made a lot of free agent money, but in the process he switched to a defense with a different CB approach and was miscast in their system.

So is it possible? Yeah.

Is it likely? All things (like cap room) considered...No :nonod:

The Panthers do have a lot of depth right now at corner and I would not be surprised if they didn't try to use one of those corners as trade bait. If that were to happen and we needed another corner, he would make a good dime back.

I guess we have depth a CB, but unproven depth
