Rivera is Losing the Team

WhoAmI?

Y'all can keep yapping about how everything is going to be ok, but we have been blown out in the last 3/5 games. Getting blown out constantly shows that players have given up on their head coach. Keep making excuses while we keep getting blown out. You say we have an easier schedule ahead, but I honestly don't see another win on our schedule.

Seriously? The Browns just lost to Jacksonville.

The hyperbole after losses on here is laughable.

I think Rivera is losing you. How his decisions affect you personally don't translate into the locker room.

The common denominators in all the games we have had poor showings in: The 3-4.

Bullsh*t. It's great to know that if we were to get to the playoffs that we would automatically be screwed if we played a 3-4 defense. Anyway, what does a 3-4 defense have anything to do with our defense getting shitted on?

So what you're saying is that Rivera and his coaches have the utter inability to learn?

Its not like the friggin 3-4 is some kind of exotic hybrid defense that we only play once in a decade.  It's run by a significant number of teams in the league either exclusively or situationally.  The fact we have supposedly NFL caliber coaches who act like they are trying to read Chinese every time an opposing team lines up in a 3-4 defense not only isn't an excuse, its a fuggin indictment of their level of competence.

Maybe if we spent some practice time developing a game plan to attack a 3-4's weaknesses instead of doing the same thing that every other 3-4 defense shoved down our throats we might have a little success.

Which says to me that at the very least, Shula is incompetent against the 3-4.  Which I think is an inexcusable weakness in an NFL offensive coordinator.

I know it's not as simple as pinning it all on Shula - the players have to execute.  But when the entire offense fails to function against all three 3-4 defenses we have faced, the head man has to be held responsible in some way.

Yeah, the Browns are going to put up +30 against us, especially since Josh Gordon will be back by then. Next.

Because Calvin Johnson just destroyed us in week two.

Is it too much to ask to have an ounce of perspective? A bad game against the best qb in the game. We aren't the first to have that happen and certainly won't be the last. .500 with one game left in the worst stretch of our schedule.
