The fans who think they could have done a better job are pretty much always morons.

 

Everyone who thinks like this should be rounded up and euthanized.

 

This is the same IGNORANT mindset that says you shouldn't criticize politicians because you couldn't do a better job. You can't criticize a "General Manager" because you aren't a GM and you probably couldn't do a better job if you were?

 

If that's the case then no one can criticize anyone for much of anything.

 

A doctor botches a delivery and causes the baby to be born with a mental issue...don't you dare criticize him since you couldn't have done a better job. Duke Energy takes all day to get the power back on...don't you dare criticize them since you couldn't have done it quicker.

Serious response: I can't find an appropriate scale or metric in which to measure the success/failure of our current GM.

I'm not going to defend him or this season so far other than to say we are still atop the division, on our way to being the first ever back to back division champ and thus giving our franchise consecutive playoff berths for the first time in history.

All the while bargain shopping and having players go all stupid and jeopardize our razor thin chances.

Add in a dash of fiscal irresponsibility from the previous regime and I'm pretty fuggin shocked we have the audacity to complain at all.

Other than that I guess he's been pretty terrible.

For those of that have been Panther fans for 20 years, understand that being a Panther fan can be really hard at times. Really hard. But we stick with them regardless and look forward to see our team each week take the field. Some of you have the emotional balance of a bad Taylor Swift song.

Knee jerk reactions, pitch forks and a get it 'on demand' attitude that I have only seen like this recently in the past few years. You don't go and rearrange an NFL team in the middle of the season as if you have keys to the stadium and treat it as your own personal fantasy football team.

 

I am kind of hoping after today's loss that some of the people on this board will abandon the wagon they initially hopped on. Thin the herd I say! The Panthers will be better for it.

We are 3-3-1 and lead the division by a game and a half.  We have bad games, but good ones too.  Right now we are an average team with a great young QB.  Things are not so bad.
