Is this the least Talented Defensive Unit in the NFL?

No.  We just have holes in important positions, and I feel like some of the new guys are still thinking too much trying to learn the system.

 

Losing Hardy and Mitchell (especially Mitchell IMO) is really hurting us right now.

 

I refuse to believe that this defense is this bad (despite mounting evidence to the contrary lol)

it's the DE's.  You either  have to believe that (A) Star, Dwan, KK and cole have all regressed or  ( CJ hasn't been a factor since he was leg whipped last season and we have not developed a pro-bowl DE outside of Hardy. I think "B" is the more likely explanation.

 

All the problems we are seeing with the LB's and Secondary this season would be masked by a run stopping, pressure inducing front four.  The scheme we runs only works with pressure generated by the 4 DL.

The last 3 games would say they suck and cost me fantasy points Andy games.. But they are overwhelmed and mcDermont's gameplan is known and being exploited
