When you don't stand up for your players

Richardson has always been in way over his head. He is clueless when it comes to building a winning franchise.

If greg Hardy is found innocent he absolutely did not let the team down. Jerry Richardson has let this team down again. He did during the lockout. He did during john foxs last year when he refused to spend. He did during the ref lockout. He does everytime he threatens the city that the team could be moved if they don't give him money for the stadium. Disgraceful. Keep your fake tears and go the hell away.

 

Greg put himself in a situation where he is being sat out for likely the entire season when we handed him 13 million dollars. Whether or not he is innocent isn't going to do anything for this team and frankly I don't even care about the outcome anymore, the damage to the panthers this season is done. He put our team in an awkward situation, he brought drama and a distraction to the team because of his fuging girlfriend, and as a guy who wants to be a leader and a guy who wants a massive investment in his career here he didn't care enough about any of that to keep himself safe and out of trouble.

 

He fuging blew it. So did Frank Alexander. So fug both of them.

12 men on the field (multiple times this season), neutral zone infractions on the hard count and delay of game because they can't get the ball snapped are all indications of a poorly disciplined team. 

 

When your owner and the head coach are both nothing more than statues who show little or no emotion or fire, why should anyone else on the team?

 

I hope Cam decides to "take his talents" elsewhere because I'd love to see what he's capable of under a true head coach and OC who are willing to put those talents to good use.

 

I feel bad for guys like Olsen and now Kelvin Benjamin- who is going to be a beast in this league.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing. As soon as they screwed over Hardy to appease the misinformed media pressure the team completely changed. The defense especially looks like they are just going through the motions, no fire, no passion, doesn't care. Honestly I can't say I blame them. You don't screw over one of your own just to make Roger Goodell look better.

 

I put this on Richardson, he screwed over his own employee because he couldn't stand the media saying not nice things about him. He's one of the worst owners in the league, it's amazing he never gets criticized for anything. The funny thing is the media kept blasting the Panthers even after they put Hardy on the exempt list, saying they are so terrible and should have done it sooner, blah blah blah, until they moved onto something else. There probably would have been the exact same amount of media outcry whether we put Hardy on the exempt list or not.
