Honestly.............  I wonder sometimes if our defense is just not giving 100% effort because they are still irked that our front office seemingly turned their back on Hardy after claiming a week prior that they would wait for the courts to conclude.

 

I don't know if its intentional, but I do think its possible the issues with Hardy threw them off mentally.  Our first two games were pretty defensively. 

 

But I think the biggest issue is that last year, we had decent talent in the secondary, and combined with a defensive front that could put pressure on without blitzing, the sum of the parts was greater than the whole.
