TV Markets that love the NFL the most

One thing to remember about NYC, there are about as many people there as the entire state of NC. A large % of them don't even speak English. A large % of them don't like sports, and a large % of the ones that do like sports, like other sports, like Soccer or Baseball.

In sheer numbers, I'm sure the Giants had plenty of fans watching, but NYC is not a sports only town like Cleveland.

In New York, the popularity of the three teams differs by the region.

NYC (for those that are football fans) are predominately Jets fans.

The Capital District (the area surrounding the Capital of Albany, including cities such as Troy and Schenectady) has a large number of Giants fan.

Northern and Western New York is all Bills fans.

Granted there is a mixture of these fans in all the regions and there is also a surprising amount of Patriots fans sprinkled in.

The Bills fans are by far the most loyal and passionate.

LOL ... thinking all the people up here  A) are even from here (like me ... Go Panthers)   B) like the Giants or Jets right now (they suck)   C) Like football (basketball and baseball are much bigger). I'd be very happy with that low ass number for sure.

You know all those people you guys hate, that moved there and don't support the team? Imagine that time 1000. It's sort of cool actually. Everyone isn't a slave to one team.

Nice to see Charlotte in the mix and leading the NFC South in support.

Oh, and New York? Divisional game? No viewers.....fairly pathetic.

Minus the Giants most of the lower rated teams are in warm weather climates.

I would take as many are still enjoying the outdoors.

Trending is the more you go north the better the rating.

No better time to be outdoors in the north than right now. fall color, mild temps.
