What Packers Fans are Saying

Hope our CBs aren't seriously hurt and that it was just heat cramps or something frown.png Gonna be a tough matchup on Benjamin and Olsen, particularly if we are keeping a linebacker or safety down low to try and keep contain on Super Cam.

Unless we figure out how to defense a mobile QB, this game will be like the Dolphins game.

Carolina's defense is ranked 27th (23 against pass; 27 against run) by Pro Football Focus after the first 5 weeks, so I expect the offensive line to show up. We should be able to control the LOS against a below average defensive front.

Packers 37 Panthers 27

The Panthers have given up a lot of points in the last four weeks not playing Rodgers.

I expect a big game for Rodgers and we win if we slow them down just a little.

37-26 Packers.

Carolina has no real weapons besides Cam Newton's read-option and Greg Olson. Receivers are marginal and RBs are terrible. There defense without Hardy, Munerlyn, and their safety (can't remember name) has been a complete opposite of last year. This is not last year's team with a superb defense and multi-headed running attack to support Cam Newton. This is the Cam Newton show with a bunch of off-off-off Broadway actors that you've never heard of.

It will still be a game but the Packers win easily in the end. No last-second drama

Simple solution:

Bench Brad Jones

Double Cover Greg Olsen

Do we chip off on Charles Johnson with one of our RBs or TEs to help the O-line? Or do we try and neutralize one of their LBs like Keuchly or Blackburn?

Greg Olson can catch a ball thrown to him. ... but the guy is not really much of a weapon in terms of a guy you need to game plan around. Certainly not the way I think of great TE that require double teams and full attention.

Packer fans are some of the classiest I have ever been around. Go to their stadium and watch a game if u ever get a chance. Awesome place and it's set up great!

They have the museum down stairs that is incredibly set up and does a great job of telling the history of the team

Weird though, the stadium still has bench seating like a HS stadium, kinda cool I guess but will provide a cold ass in the winter time. Lol.

I had a friend who's father worked on building the stadium and he said they kept the seating that way to keep the fans more into the game. They'll be more eager to get on their feet because they won't be very comfortable sitting down on those. I don't know if that's true or not but it does make some sense.

I like the "off Broadway" comment too,but I think it's more about maturation than a less talented team. If our defense can start to work together and show improvement, we can make a game of it.

I do own some  (fake) stock in the Meat Packers, they are the only publicly owned teams- but I hope we can play well and sneak out a win in the Q4.

and it's Philly time...we need some field position in this game

Greg Olsen....forever underrated.

I'd like to see the Packers not gameplan for him.

Also, they mentioned our great RBs last season. All it was was a healthy Cam making our rush attack what it was....like the dude we saw last week

    • I genuinely don’t think there is a single Panthers fan who wants Bryce to fail. There’s a big difference between actively rooting for someone’s failure, and just observing the obvious. I didn’t personally think before the 2023 season “omg I hope Bryce fails I hate him” I was cautiously optimistic although admittedly skeptical because I had seen him play in college and he had a lot of red flags that seemed to be totally ignored in the draft process. But now? I don’t think he’s going to be the franchise QB for this team, he’s obviously too physically limited, but he might have a long career in the NFL as a backup and game manager. He’s just not the caliber of player who should have been taken #1 overall. He was wildly overhyped because he went to Alabama and the Panthers drank the proverbial kool ade. So long story short no, I don’t hope he fails, at this point I know he’s a failure relative to what the Panthers paid to get him.
    • His future is the next Jake from State Farm guy.  I imagine he's going to stay in the League for 3-4 more years and that's it.  Beyond his rookie contract he'll catch on some place else as a backup for a few years and then hang them up realizing he's never going to start again.
    • i didn’t say BY was the greatest QB, i said he was outplaying the two in the late game. BY played well, but not great. he missed some throws, and had some good throws dropped. he made some good decisions, and not really any bad ones. but if you want to cherry pick stats, ok, both QBs in the late game had multiple picks, 7 between them. BY had none. betterer, which is all i was claiming.
