The new rules have screwed up defenses in the NFL. When the NFL saw the Panthers and Seahawks rank in the top 5 of defenses all-time they changed the rules to fit the party line of more offensive production thus a flag anytime you tried to be physical with a WR and conveniently missing holds by the offense.
