Ron Jaworski on Cam Newton

I was watching ESPN yesterday and they were talking about QB's. Someone came on and talked about how Cam Newton is playing well and running the ball better then any other QB.

That boggles my mind. He is not a running QB. He is a pocket QB who can run.

Which makes him even more awesome, because you are right, he is a pocket QBS who happens to be able to run --just so happens that he is also the best running QB in the NFL...hell one of the best running QBs of all time.

Cam is a goddamn beast.

When he doesn't run, people say he should be running.

He's playing at a very high level right now - but his threshold for error is very small in regards to the media. A lot of the mainstream media guys are licking their chops for him to have a poor outing - which he hasn't yet.

Pocket QB? He basically brought the option to the NFL. He has learned to play in the pocket like no other mobile QB has ever done. He's always had a ridiculous arm but has gotten very good at all the other aspects of the position. I know what u said was meant to be a complement but he has only gotten really good in the pocket the last year and a half or so.
