Probably not for the squeamish

Sorry, I am not buying it that the giant spider at the end is completely harmless even though it eats birds. If it is going to eat flesh of any kind, that fugger will most certainly bite me.

ps.....My dreams of going to Australia have been put on hold now. In fact, I'm fine if I never go.

the orbs you find here eat flesh (insects) but are harmless. like most spiders. it won't consider you food and it won't bite in defense any more than the little ones here.

makes me want to go even more (with a camera)

i was in Australia for 6 months, you'll have more to worry about then what they listed. All of those might not even make the top 10 list on the deadly creature meter.

Everything can kill you in Australia...

Those Giant Asian Hornets are the scariest. They kill more people annually than bears. They are also depleting the world's Honey Bees, which is very bad. They kill pretty much all other insects, just for the hell of it.

Saw a bio on them on Discovery. About 20-30 of them will destroy a hive of thousands of Honey Bees. They fly in, grab a Honey Bee, fly off with it, bite it's head off, then drop it and turnaround to go grab another.

They're also incredibly hard to kill. They poured gasoline on a nest of them and the fugers were flying around on fire chasing after the people.

Nasty bastards.
