Plus Lacy is a bigger back and not one with alot of speed like Gio or Bell

Lacy has Blount speed. Speed doesn't seem to be our issue.

Wrong gaps and missed tackles by LBs do. Good news is that can be fixed. Bc it is almost absurd that is the reason why we suck against the run

It's hard to just ignore the big run that Gio had because it seems like we are giving up a big run or two every week

yup, most games are won with a big play or two.

Panthers also left 10 points on the field last week.

we can tear the games apart and the Panthers win every week. #alicelogic

Tru and yeah its crazy cause run defense was the aspect of our team I was most confident in going into the season.

The problem is we are giving up these one or two big runs every single game. How we do on the other carries doesn't matter that much if we're going to keep getting gashed once or twice a game with 50+ yard runs.

Pie for this (I am an NCSU grad which makes it all the more difficult)

A professor once told me people lacked greatness because they spend too much time looking at the 95% where they excel and ignore the 5% where they fail.

What made Lacy the ROY last year was his deceptive speed and ability to hit the corner, the guy is powerful but he isn't slow by any means.

That said, he is having a very slow start, he did last year as well, but not like he is now, the run blocking has to open some running lanes and Lacy needs to be more decisive, oh yea, and McCarthy needs to RUN HIM UP THE MIDDLE and quit with all the pitches and stretch runs.

Starks has had a great start to the year, coming of his good year last year as well, its good to see him being more consistent.
