Exactly.

The Luck hate is ridiculous here.  He is having a fantastic year and is a great QB.  Does not change the fact that Cam is having a great year and is a great QB.

I went over to the Colts forum today, on a thread on the same article there wasn't one mention of Cam.

We have 4 active discussions on Luck on our main forum.

We have such butthurt fans its unbelievable.

It's like half the board turned into dance moms or something.

Cam will never be ranked above Luck (in these types of polls) due to Luck being the annointed best ever.  He was given the crown before he earned it, while Cam was labeled as a potential bust after he'd earned much more respect than that.  (I don't list Cam's season above Luck's this year either, but we have a lot of football to play)

To list Cam before Luck would to be an admission that so many people were wrong. It's too much of a blow to the ego for people to be wrong about Cam while also being wrong in their talent assessment to the degree that he is even in the same conversation as their chosen one.

Point being... it's very tough for the collective media to even admit that 4 years in, Cam isn't going away.  And in fact, he's in the same conversation as the guy who they swore was lightyears ahead of any QB... ever.

I wouldn't trade Cam for anyone.  Keep proving them wrong Cam.

Rivers?

I think that Luck has semi-deserved the praise he's receiving but I'm going to hold off for a bit since he's also been torching Houston, Tennessee and Jacksonville in that span. Andrew was looking mortal in the media's eyes prior to those wins.

"pretty much every other QB." Luck's interceptions are the only thing dragging him down behind Rivers and maybe Peyton and Rodgers but he's been better than everyone else. One could argue Luck's been better than those 3 since he has more yards and tds (I don't agree) but regardless those 4 have been significantly better than all the others.

I completely agree that he throws the fastest in the NFL, maybe Kaep and Rothlisberger comes close but the old "fast arms" of Cutler, Stafford, Flacco just don't compare anymore.

There are times the speed effected Cam's accuracy in the last two years but I think he's worked on his technique in the OS and now hes able to ping fast+accurate balls as well as anyone. The only problem with it is the WRs often don't have time to react and grip as much as with some over QBs, which is why we've seen some balls bounce off of KB's hands in the last few weeks.

That throw to Cotchery along the sideline last week shows he has just enough touch to go along with the fastballs and he has certainly improved on that

Again, majority of those yards and touchdowns have come against the awful AFC South but I would agree that he's been the best Luck I've seen since him enter the league. Right now, I gotta rank him in the Top 10.

That absolutely factors in but you can't choose who you play. We haven't played any elite pass defenses either. For now Luck's gotta be top 5 IMO. That should change once his schedule evens out and gets harder but so far you can't deny he's played amazingly. Cam has played just as well or better and is top 5 as well but because of the numbers gotta put Luck higher for now.

That's the worst. When you hate someone so much, and you find out that they weren't even aware of your existence haha. To be fair though, about 75% of the Luck hate is from HaploE/thal (they may or may not be the same personal).

Luck's season so far has been significantly better than pretty much every other QB, including Cam.

Cam>Luck right now according to PFF.

Cam has done more with less, and has made infinitely better decisions this year, behind a markedly crappier O-line.  That's just the truth. Period!

Or it could be that Luck's statistics this year are off the charts...better than any other QB in the league.

Nah...that can't be it.

It HAS to be a perceived hatred and bias for us.
