Why don't you bring up my posts this time ???

 

Please, don't just tell me what I said and at what time: Prove it.

 

Honestly I have wasted enough of my time on you, and I don't recall you posting much in 2013.

 

However, this is how little credibility you have when it comes to Cam Newton.  The day we played the Giants and put up 400+ yards of offense, had 27 first downs, averaged over 5 yards a play, and scored on like 5 or 6 straight possessions, and had 38 points.

 

Oh yeah and Cam had 270 yards of total offense and 4 TDS, even though they put the breaks on in the 4th quarter.  This was your reaction:

You disappeared mostly last year (shocker), and you have only been around lately to post in threads to talk about Andrew Luck and how good of a season he is having, and how much better than Cam he is.

 

Like I said you only have 400 posts and the vast majority of them are about Cam either directly or indirectly, mostly wrong, and certainly not rational

 

I don't see a need to bring up anymore of your posts.  I don't need to, the point is pretty clear

If I said anything after the Giants game it was probably because one of the Nuthuggers on this forum called Newton's performance the "best of all time" or something similar. Silly hyperbole like that is common on this board. 

 

I am not effusive in my praise of Newton precisely because there is too much of it on this forum.

 

The man has played well at times and played poorly at times. Overall, he has been an average passer with great mobility. And frankly, that's what the numbers say again this year. 

 

A large percentage of the people that post here seem only to do so to gush about Cam and his play.

 

Is he a great QB??? We should know after this seasons ends.  

 

Cam Newton went into this season ranked as the 16th best QB in the league by league GM's and scouts. It is what it is. 

 

Of course if you suggested Newton was the 16th best QB in the league on this forum, you would immediately be branded a "fuging idiot". 

 

This board is too one sided when it comes to an honest appraisal of the teams play. And especially Newton's play. 

 

I don't need to go out of my way to gush about Cam Newton. There is plenty of that already. 

 

I don't watch football because I am in love with individual players. I just like the game.

You withheld judgment on Luck his first two seasons? Cool. That was probably smart. This is what you were saying midway through Cam's second season, when I guess you weren't quite as willing to withhold judgment.

You sure didn't hold off on judgments about Cam Newton his first two years.

What is equally ironic is how miserably wrong you were about every point you made, and yet you think you should be taken seriously and everyone else is the irrational ones.

Funny because in the previous post he said the guy had an "AXE TO GRIND." LOL. Thank you. We have the worst fan base in the NFL. How so many of them can't appreciate a great QB is beyond me. It really pisses me off.

He's already elite, most think he's a top 5-8 QB overall. He is the Panthers offense and has been since day 1.

PFF has Cam as the top rated QB. That is elite right there.

Look at the analyst for the networks, you'll see tons of Cam is a top 5-10 QB. It's not just Panther fans that know he's a top QB now.

I mean cemented around the league.

I like Wesseling, Rosenthal, and Harrison. They usually tell it how it is.

Cam is regarded as a Top 5 QB by some. But most still don't put him up there with Rodgers, Brees, Brady, and Manning.
